I LOVE Lock Laces! I've always hated shoelaces and never understood why they still exist. I treaded Lock Laces in my boots, then slipped them on, and I felt automatically happy, cause I knew I'd never have to tie laces on my books ever again. The next morning I had gone around to everyone in my office showing them off I was so exited.
I'm going to buy them for everyone I know :) They were so super easy to use and I recommend them for anyone who hates traditional shoelaces or just wants to purchase a practical product.

These were a blessing for my elderly parents, who struggle with tying and untying their walking-shoe laces each time they take a walk, go to the mailbox, go out to a restaurant or to run errands, or go through airport security. Now, it's a couple seconds on, a couple seconds off, and completely adjustable to fit different sizes and types of shoes (including "special" shoes, since one of my parents has a severe foot problem). The only time involved is the initial lacing up, which of course can be done while the shoes are off. Great idea. Great price to simply try them for yourself.Customer Review: Fast and comfortable

The laces were exactly what I expected. I have been using them in my Wallabees for weeks now and they are great.
The elastic laces give. Even though the shoe fits snugly it gives you room to stretch and move in a way normal cord laces don't.
My shoes come on and off in a snap and I almost never have to adjust them. If I do, it only takes a few seconds.
I plan to get many more of these and would recommend that everyone try at least one pair.

The lock laces round locking device is about the size of a quarter and looks kind of kiddy because it's big and noticeable (for the lighter colors at least). I didn't bother putting on those plastic end caps as I figured it'd look even more kiddy like, nor did i need them.
The length of the laces were nicely long and i had an excess of at least 6 inches which i cut off after fully adjusting the laces so that they wouldn't make my the shoes too tight. Before i cut off the excess, i walked in my shoes a couple of times after adjusting the laces so that i wouldn't accidentally cut them too short and tight. This worked perfectly for me as now I no longer have to worry about my shoe laces coming untied or working loose. Also, if i need to use my sneakers for sports, all I have to do is pull and lock rather than have to re-tie my laces. Therefore, I think these are a wonderful solution for people who hate having to fiddle with tying shoe laces.

I have arthritis, and it affects my back, shoulders, and hips. I use a cane to get around, and trying to re-tie shoes, while out and about, with a cane in hand, is very nearly impossible. The best solution I have seen is these gizmos.
Replace the strings, thread them through the locks, adjust. Trim them off, make sure you don't cut them off too short to adjust before you find out how long they need to be. Not sure how well they work on athletic shoes with Speed Laces(the top two or three rows of "holes" are replaced by u-shaped metal/plastic loops). The elastic is enough to keep your shoes tight, but loose enough to slip them on so you do not need to untie or retie them again, and they are easily adjustable to keep your feet comfortable, and your circulation flowing.
