Customer Review: Louis Raphael, a quality pair of slacks

I am on my second round of Louis Raphael slacks, hint, only buy these when they are on sale, they are usually 50-60% off. They are of good quality and have a good flexible fit. I have tried on many pairs of slacks and these are my favorites at this time. They have a bit longer fit then other brands which I like since I tend to be in the 31" length size and it is very difficult to find mens pants in the odd number size. Why is it that most men's clothes are in the two inch increments and only in even number sizes, either too small or two large, clothiers, are you listening? men need to come out of the stone age when it comes to sizes, do you want to sell more clothes and have satisfied customers?. On the Pro side the material used is a bit better then it's competitors in this price range/class, the pants hang better and the flexible waste band that is very well designed making it hard to tell that it has it, other brands you can see the design for the flexible band. On the Con side, it seems that the color choices are very limited, I tried to find my size in plain Charcoal and Brown and could not find any and while the tags say they can be washed I tried it on a pair and the results were no where near dry cleaning which I am now using. Finally the materials in the pants seems to be getting thinner now a days, this is a problem I have noticed in all brands, I had a part of slacks that were of heavier weight and they were great, they held a edge well and hung straight and lasted a long time, I challenge clothiers to bring back the heavier weight materials for men's clothes, I would be willing to pay more for this.
Overall these pants are well made and I recomend them to the proffessional who needs to look sharp at work but does not need thousand dollar suits.
