We call them "panty pull-ups" for our 3 and 4 year old girls. They are really for minor leaks and can't really hold a bladder full so keep that in mind. The website gives you an inaccurate weight range. The size 5 (largest size they have), is for 39 to 42 pound kids not 39-44 as it states on their sizing chart. Our girls are small to average for their age, so kids with larger girths may find the pants snug. Hope this info helps.Customer Review: They're nice and they worked!

After trying with the disposable training pants for many months, I finally decided to try these cotton training pants. The results--essentially instant success. The training pants weren't different enough from diapers to encourage potty training, but these were. Plus they're cute, inexpensive, and easy to launder. I love them!
Sure, there is still the occasional accident at night or when company is over and the toddler is having too much fun to take a potty break, but we're saving $700 a year in diapers!
For informational purposes for other parents struggling with potty training, my toddler was a little over 3 1/2 when we bought the training pants. We probably could have achieved success if we bought them at least a few months earlier.

I bought these two years ago when potty training my twins. The quality was very poor and they did not last long at all. I tried them again recently for my son (almost 4 y/o and still wets occasionally at night)and this new set is going in the trash can after only 3 washes. The seams are falling apart, the elastic in the waste has come loose, the wadding in the soaker area is loose and crammed over to one side, not to mention they shrank to a fraction of their original size. I am amazed that others have given these such good reviews when my luck with them has repeatedly been so bad. Interestingly, the Gerber cloth training pants I bought 2 years ago are just now beginning to show signs of wear. I would definately buy Gerber cloth training pants again, but they no longer offer them in size 4T.Customer Review: great value, suitable for EC

We are a family that practices elimination communication (Diaper Free: The Gentle Wisdom of Natural Infant Hygiene) and I wanted to start my daughter on training pants when she turned 1. I bought these because they were such a good deal that if they didn't fit her they surely would before she was fully potty trained, and if they did fit her it would save me the expense of more costly EC specific pants. She is of average size and they were a little big but did not fall down at 12 mos. Now she is 19 mos and wears these every day.
The waistband did shrink over several washings, which improved the fit for her. The elastic still stretches a lot and I can see these lasting until she is fully potty trained. Out of the 15, two tags have fallen out (no biggie), three have bunchy filling, and two have seams coming apart. That is why I took off a star. However, the long life of fit, the price (best I've seen!), and comfort keep those stars up.
BTW, what's wrong with gray? Ballerinas wear gray all the time!

I am not sure how well these will fit on other toddlers. On my son, a size 2 is quite large, but he's only 15 months old. So I will not speak for the size. they contain the liquid quite well, although i would not take my boy out with these before he become more potty trained.
The reason I'm giving it a 4 star is mainly because of the quality. It is soft and comfortable, however, after about 3 washes, I can feel the center padded part getting bunched up and causing uneven spots. I've never used another brand, so i can't speak in terms of comparison. but they still do a good job of holding stuff in as long as you notice it right a way.
