Customer Review: WONDERFUL SOCKS... Thick, warm, and cute!

I purchased two packages of these socks in SIZE 6-12 mos for my 5 month old grandson.
This package contained four pair of baby socks (plain yellow, yellow with tan stripe, plain tan, and an adorable white pair with solo duck). These "socks" are nice and thick, more akin to a baby bootie. They have a terry cloth type interior and are very stretchy. They lack any type of non-skid surface.
These socks held up perfectly after one laundering with only minimal shrinkage noted. On our 5 month old, these fit perfectly in the "heel to toe" area, covering baby's leg up to the kneecap (like kneesocks) with plenty room for growth. At just below the knee, they stay up well; no slipping down, but did leave a slight "ring" around the leg due to the elastic -- no big deal, though (maybe less noticeable with subsequent laundering). As compared to other "Luvable" brand socks, I think these run a bit large, but of all the different "Luvables" we've purchased, these are one of my favorites. A really great winter "sock" -and- perhaps good in mild to temperate climates for a little one who is crawling.
The quality of these little socks are superb, especially at this price point.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SOCKS.
