Customer Review: Nice color, but falling apart

I purchased this belt for my 13-year-old son who had a similar one stolen at school. His old one was vinyl, and this new one SMELLS like leather. The old one, however, was far sturdier than this one. Within a week, my son had lost 4 studs from the belt, and I just looked at it last night, and the leather (if it is leather) is separating from the rest of the belt.
He's pleased with the color, but I'm not happy with the quality.
