Nice hat, I needed a size 2 sizes larger than I thought, so maybe buy larger at the same time and just send back the one that does not fit. Enjoy!!Customer Review: Functional Boonie Hat

A functional boonie hat, but not a traditional fishing hat which has the elastic storage band around the crown of the hat. Since photo roll containers have joined the dinosaurs in extinction, I've decided to use my fishing vest for storage and easier access. This is the only compromise to expect if you searched for a "fishing hat" (and if you still own photo-roll containers).Customer Review: Happy with purchase

Great hat! good fit. I just hope that it doesn't shrink when I need to wash it (will update if it does).
Note that the description "Made from a 100% water repellant cotton" is not accurate. It's just a cotton hat, NO water repellent ability of any kind. Glad I bought it when it was only ten bucks.
Customer Review: it's a nice hat, but steer clear of salt water

Nice hat, fits well and for the money it's a good deal. my only complaint is to steer clear of salt water with it. I wore it fishing in Aruba and was exposed to a lot of sea water. I looked at the hat today (2 weeks later) and the hardware is green and tarnished. perhaps I should have washed it afterwards, but I didn't, and now it has green hardware. Although, I'll probably still wear it next time I go fishing.Customer Review: Packaging

Would've been a great hat if it wasn't packaged so folded up. It was so wrinkled and bent I can't get it to look right, even with ironing and tyring everthing else.
