I've tried to buy clothes online before, and it usually ends in disappointment. But for $15, I took a chance, and this dress looks really good on me! The high waist is as forgiving of a few too many beers as a high waist should be. The skirt hangs loose and long, making this a good modest choice for work. Calf-length isn't the most leg-flattering style ever, but with a cardigan, it's a good winter dress.

The photo kind of makes it look like this is a linen style fabric, but it does say it's jersey, and it is stretchy fabric. It's not very clear what a "Medium" means for this seller, but Medium is fine for a size 12 and would probably work for a 14 as well. You probably want small if you're consistently size 8 or 10.
