Purchased this bag because I wanted a messenger type bag for school. Bag is unlined with a single main compartment sufficient to hold my 14.1 in laptop in a neoprene case and maybe a thin textbook or binder. The bag also has three smaller pockets that for organization. This bag is pretty good if you have only a few things you need to carry, but for a busy student it's not quite large enough.
