As a 17 year plus veteran of the messenger industry I have gone through about maybe a dozen or so messenger bags and I have to say that the Manhattan Portage bags have been the most reliable and longest lasting of the bunch. Sure I have owned better built bags but as far as features go they don't top the Portage. There are a whopping 5 ZIPPERED (THAT'S RIGHT, ZIPPERED) POCKETS, whereas most bags that I have owned had one or two zippered pockets along with another 2 Velcro pockets. (They are ok, if you're not using it in the rain, otherwise things in the pockets get wet) Plus the inside of the bag is HUGE! I can easily fit 4 small or two large shopping bags inside (Which works wonders during food shopping....yes it is more than just a messenger bag.) and still have room for more. For the price you can't go wrong with the Portage.
