I noticed this bag on AMC's new series Rubicon, hanging on the shoulder of the main character, Will Travers. I've never owned a messenger bag before, so it took some adjusting from a standard laptop bag. I carry an Asus netbook and a two smaller travel bags I bought to carry pens, Ipod, cords, keys, and other smaller items. This bag is perfect for that. Zippered pouch in the top flap is perfect size for cell phone and wallet. Two zippered pouches on the inside are just right for my Moleskines and other small notebooks. The material is soft and has the look of a distressed leather jacket. The velcro flap closure allows you to tighten or loosen the flap easily, depending on your how much you're carrying. The two straps are great when you know you'll be walking for a while, like when changing planes. The handle on the top is very handy for carrying and moving around on the desk or on a plane. Construction is top notch and I can see why these bags have a loyal following. I think the key with this type of messenger bag is to have smaller bags for small things. This is really convenient for me, since I can take out the smaller bags, such as my Nintendo DS bag and leave every thing else in the messenger bag.
