I used these to replace the uncomfortable straps that came with one of my bras - they are really comfortable! The wide straps mean they don't leave grooves in my shoulders, and they also lie flat on my back instead of shifting around or bunching up.

Since they're clear, they don't tend to show, but most of all, they're supportive and comfortable.

They go through the washing machine just fine on gentle/hand wash settings. I always line dry, but I wouldn't recommend putting these in the clothes dryer (besides, that's not good for your bra!)

Wearing these in the summertime might be a little sticky - they don't breathe at all, so you could end up sweating in them. If they stick to your skin, a little talc should do the trick.
