My daughter received this for Christmas when she was 18 months old. Although I read the reviews about the doll not being easy to put into the seat, my daughter has no problems with it. Maybe this is because she plays with the soft dolls that have very flexible leggs? Since she got this gift, this is the most played with toy in her collection. She has endless hours of fun putting the dolls in the seat (or in the basket for that matter). She uses the basket to puts all kind of stuff in it: the groceries that come with it, books, big brother's toys, blankets, stuffed animals,...
When the basket comes off, she does need my assistance to put it back on, but it doesn't come off without her pulling at it.
Same goes for the seat. I read lot of parents say that the seat came off easy, but ours seems to stay in place most of the time, unless you pull it off.
Really, I am so glad I bought her this toy, because together with her dolls, she can spend many hours playing by herself!
