These pads ache. When my milk lets down on the feeding side, the milk will gather in the center of the other and pool. When I take off the pad, milk with squirt out and leak everywhere. They do stay on but they ache and don't allow breathing.

I breastfed my first for a year and a half and am currently breastfeeding our second. I have strong let downs with my second. So if you are one that hardly leaks, these might be fine but they still don't breath and that increases your chance for infection.
