Customer Review: Nicer than I expected!!!

I'm big on reviewing things before I buy so I thought I'd do what I could for others who weren't sure before buying this cover.
First let me say that for the price, this exceeded all of my expectations. I chose the blue and it is a violet blue shade (my favorite color, actually) and is nicely bevelled. The padding itself is less asthetically pleasing but after a short while, I could see the merit of it and it definitely pads the unit in a way that I am happy with. The cover fits very well, and the cut outs are perfectly done so that all of the buttons and plugs are accessible. If there was an issue with the power cord, it seems to have been modified as I do not find it to be an issue any longer. The snap is sturdy and magnetic and even though I shook it from all angles, it would not budge without me manually opening it. This cover disguises the Kindle to look like an ordinary notebook cover or appt book which I also find appealing as theft is already a concern that I have. This definitely puts my mind at ease on that account.
To sum up, this is a lightweight, reasonably priced, attractive case with an interior pocket that you can put your travel pass in that looks even nicer in person than it does in the pictures. I'm happy to recommend it and I looked at dozens of other cases before settling on this one.

I am updating this review to include one perk that I didn't realize existed with this particular cover. I hate to admit it, but I'm not the most graceful person you'll ever meet. I have a knack for making messes wherever I go. I had my worst episode yet this morning when I had to make a sudden stop on the interstate. My industrial size coffee cup tipped over and even though the lid was closed, it still managed to leak out all over my cloth passenger seat. I was carrying my kindle in a fabric tote bag this particular morning and depending on the type of lunch I'm bringing, it is either that or a nylon tote bag. Well, the tote was soaked through and the seat was a puddle before I realized the coffee had leaked out. I was horrified and I frantically pulled my kindle from the bag, fearing the absolute worst. Imagine my relief, shock and elation to find that not a drop had reached the kindle inside. Even the cover itself withstood the sticky mess and with one wipe of a napkin it was good as new. I can't emphasize enough how many close calls I've had with spills around my Kindle. I have taken this everywhere and each time I fear the worst, the cover has proven its resiliency. Kudos to Mivizu for making a product that continues to amaze me. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their Kindle safe and sound.
