With improved quality control, this could be a nice case for the money ($35.00). I ordered the case in plum, and am quite satisfied with the color/shade. The case is very sleek and easy to hold. It folds back and stands up quite well. However, the USB cable won't go all the way in the Kindle while in the this case. Also, there are little *things* here and there on the case itself that are not perfect-- leather not uniformly tight across cover front, un-uniform corner stitching. If you don't look really hard you probably wouldn't notice them at first, still, taking care of these little things would put the icing on the cake.
I hope some improvements are made on the finishing end of this cover, because I do like the overall design.

I ordered the purple one, and got a defect. The seller offered the option to exchange, but I turned it down, because even without considering the defective issue, the quality of the product itself is not satisfactory. As a matter of fact, it looks very cheap, and not as sleek as in the picture. I finally ordered a CaseBrown leather case cover and quite happy about it.Customer Review: Not leather! Purchased one @ promotional price of $6.26. It's in reality a very hard plastic case that does indeed fit extremely close to Kindle shape, in fact it snaps into position. Does not stand-up as pictured. With the snap fastened backwards, the distance between covers @ bottom barely 1" leaving it in a delicate [precarious?] state when used in this manner Not worth anywhere near $34! The whole thing is "molded" w/o an actual "stitch" to be found. So called velvet is just that soft plastiky finish they can now create. M-Edge is the real deal for Kindle drop protection. Supple, stitched leather, w/ glove-soft gray leather suede inside which would make a dull "Thump" sound if dropped on a hard floor = Kindle likely still okay. Still, there's also those uber-$$$ Oberon covers if you are a female who still believes in Unicorns and such. This Mivisu would sound just like it was a naked Kindle hitting a hard surface = lots-of-shock to the $$$ device inside. In short, misrepresented, albeit an incredibly sleek, yet expensive, solution if that's what you are after.Customer Review: It leaves black stains on your kindle!

I really liked the idea of this cover, and I like how it protects my kindle without being too bulky. Also it gentles hold it, so it most likely would not create any fatigue lines in the kindle body. However, the only thing it really, really annoyed me is the fact that after a while, the black ink used to color this cover was trasnferred to my kindle!...This happen to my friend's kindle too. Luckily, in my case I also bought a silicon cover, so this horrible black stain did not transfer directly to my kindle (my friend was not so lucky).
Another thing is that I am not sure if this is genuine leather. The grain looks toooo perfect. I am keen to do some basic burning test. I can not affirm it is not leather, but if I do the test, I will let you know.
Finally, they should add a small hole to be able to charge your kindle while the cover is closed. This is not so annoying but it would have been nice to have.
If it were not for the horrible black stains, I would have given this item 4 or 5 stars.

I received my red one last week. The color is lovely and it is a very sleek case. The leather is very thin and some sort of plastic is bonded to it at the edges to hold it together. It isn't the neatest look (not uniform along the edges) and it won't hold up to taking my Kindle in and out. One corner is already coming apart. I don't feel like my K2 is well protected in this case - much better protection in my Oberon where there is some overlap of cover.
All in all, this is a sleek case but, the quality and protectiveness isn't up to par with other cases.
