Description of Moving Comfort Women's Cameo Racer Back Bra

Attractive styling and racer back design with built-in shape and support.
A sleek, racer-backed design and attractive scoop neck with excellent sport performance support make the Moving Comfort Cameo Racer Back Bra a favorite. Built-in cups separate and encapsulate the breasts for shape, eliminating the classic "tube" effect of so many sport bras, and limit up-and-down movement for comfort. The bra's flattering design lines throughout enhance the overall support of the bra, while high-performance fabrics manage moisture, and the racer-back cut allows for full-range movement for the arms.

Designed for high-impact sports, the Cameo Racer Back Bra features combined encapsulation and compression support. The encapsulation bra cup construction surrounds the breast to give support and shaping, protecting the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports. Compression bra construction redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall limiting overall motion. The Cameo Racer Back Bra is both sporty and feminine, providing optimum support while maintaining a graceful silhouette.

Specifications:

  • Shaped racer back
  • Built in cups

Support Type:

  • Compression: Bra cup construction that redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall to limit motion
  • Encapsulation: Bra cup construction that surrounds the breast to give support and shaping. Based on various degrees of impact, this structure helps to protect the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports activities.

Material Specifications:

  • Body: 88 percent polyester, 12 percent Lycra
  • Back and Frame Lining: 91 percent polyester, n percent spandex
  • Interior Cups: 89 percent polyester, 11 percent spandex

Care Specifications:

  • Machine washable
  • Fasten the hooks before tossing them in the machine

Find Your Fit:

  • Band: Should be slightly more snug than a lingerie bra. Make sure you can comfortably take a deep breath with the bra fastened on the middle hook. Be sure the band doesn't ride up in the back. If it does, the band may be too loose and/or the straps need to be adjusted.
  • Cups: Adjust your breasts for a proper fit. They should be completely held within the cups without overflowing. Fabric should be smooth. Wrinkles or puckers indicate the cup is too big. Underwire should sit on your ribcage below the breast tissue and follow your natural shape.
  • Straps: Should offer minimal stretch to reduce up-and-down breast movement. Wider straps will disperse the weight and feel more comfortable. Straps should not dig in or slide off your shoulders. Adjustable straps offer a more custom fit.

About Moving Comfort:
Two female runners founded Moving Comfort in 1977 before there were women's workout clothes. In the 30-plus years since the founding, the company hasn't strayed from its original purpose. Moving Comfort uses high-quality, performance fabrics that have the right amount of stretch, perfect quick-wicking moisture management, and a healthy amount of comfort--cut exactly for a woman's body.

Moving Comfort follows the following guidelines in constructing high-performance athletic wear for women:

Moving means moving: The how doesn't matter--running, walking, weight training, yoga, martial arts, skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, horseback riding, golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, inline skating...Moving Comfort naturally understands and designs clothes for a woman's body, whatever that body was meant to do.

Quality comes first: Moving Comfort understands the kind of support and freedom needed in clothing, and how that clothing should feel against the skin. The company knows what keeps women warm and dry when it's cold and cool and dry when it's hot. Knowledge, expertise and high standards shape the fit, fabric and function of every garment Moving Comfort designs.

Fit affects everything: Keeping fit improves every aspect of a woman's life--reducing the incidence of heart disease, breast cancer, osteoporosis, depression, and drug and alcohol abuse. If a girl or woman is more comfortable when she's working out, she's more likely to keep at it. That's why Moving Comfort views its technical garments--and the great fit of each piece--as a means to encourage women to get fit and stay fit.

Customer Review: Excellent
Rating: 5 Stars

I liked this bra enough that I got it in seven colours. It's wonderful to have some choice of colour whilst being sporty. The swirly ones are particularly fun. The "nectar" one is rather more orange than peach in tone, but not at all bad.

If you take your exercise really seriously, as I do, then you'll find that air flow in the cleavage isn't as free as you'd like. Of course, this is a reasonable design compromise. You'd lose support if the cleavage were more open, so I'm certainly not going to ding them for that. Just get ready to sweat freely (or glow, if you're being ladylike).

As far as I'm concerned, the biggest flaw is that the manufacturer doesn't offer matching compression shorts. This can hardly be held as a criticism of the bras themselves. I found that Mizono makes shorts in a bunch of interesting colours. The full spectum of colours generally doesn't seem to be available from Amazon vendors, but I had no trouble getting them by googling.

As far as sizing goes, I wear a 36c (Vickie's Secret sizing) and 36c of this bra worked just fine for me. Were I to do anything particularly high-impact, I might be inclined to go down a band size, but probably not even then.

Customer Review: Great Quality!

I originally got this bra three years ago at the store. At that time, I had also purchased some other bras from Target, priced at $16/each and higher end athletic wear lines, paying $40/bra. I'm the type of athlete that expects my gear to last a few years. So when I went to order some new bras, I looked at which of the brands held up the best. This bra was by far in the best condition after the three year period. Still supportive and little fading...I still wear it to go trail running in. Thank goodness the tag was still readable. I went online, googled the name, found it on Amazon and ordered two more!!! Nothing has changed as far as the cut/structure of the bra because it's a great supportive fit. The manufacturer did change the fabric to a different type. Hopefully it too will wear as well as the first one I still wear. Very happy with this bra. I hope they still make it 3 years from now when I go to order more!

Customer Review: It just FEELS GOOD.

The title here really says it all. (To give some background, I am a trail runner and also practice yoga.)
I was wary of the price (I bought the nectar color, so $28) because I am a poor student, but I decided to just take the plunge and buy one. Let me tell you, this is by far the best sports bra I've ever had. I'm not that chesty (34A), but regardless, my opinion is that this bra is SO comfortable. I feel like "the gals" are secure but not in any way squooshed and my breathing is fine. I'll definitely be buying some more of these, now that I know that quality comes along with the price(which is, sadly, not always the case)!

I love it!!! It fits true to size and is very comfortable. I was worried it would be to warm with the padding, but its not. I will buy several more of these!!

I just recently joined my school's track team, and I needed a sports bra to "keep myself together." I'm more full busted and I like having padded support with any kind of bra. I originally bought this 2 band sizes bigger, not wanting it to squish me. Turns out, I needed just my regular band width, as I would need with any other bra.
I bought this in "Sky Swirl" and it's better looking in person that what the picture shows. Usually, I had to wear 3 non-padded sports bras to keep myself in and to help my breathing, but all I have to do is wear this one bra and I'm all set.

Long story short....this bra is worth the price and it's a must for any athlete who runs
