Description of Moving Comfort Women's Fiona Bra

Our #1 selling bra, the favorite that women buy in multiples, is always in the gym bag ready to wear. Front adjustable straps offer unsurpassed levels of comfort and custom fit.
Moving Comfort's most popular sports bra, the Fiona features seam-free molded cups with one-way stretch powermesh that encapsulates the breasts for support and limits up and down movement. This means that you can maintain the shape of your bust, while still receiving the high level of support and movement control that you expect from a sports bra. Two-way stretch powermesh on the back of the bra provides extra-firm support, while front adjustable straps with flattering design lines and a concealed hook-and-loop closure provide a perfect fit and enhance support. The wide-banded back will not bite into your sides and is fastened with three plush-backed hook-and-eye rows. Bras with bands sized 40 to 44 have a fourth row on the band. The Fiona Bra is constructed with fabrics that manage moisture for high-intensity activities.

Designed for high-impact sports, the Fiona features combined encapsulation and compression support. The encapsulation bra cup construction surrounds the breast to give support and shaping, protecting the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports. Compression bra construction redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall limiting overall motion. The Fiona is an exceptional sports bra, designed to flatter a woman's form, while offering optimum fit and comfort performance.

Support Type:

  • Compression: Bra cup construction that redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall to limit motion
  • Encapsulation: Bra cup construction that surrounds the breast to give support and shaping. Based on various degrees of impact, this structure helps to protect the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports activities.

Material Specifications:

  • Body: 88 percent polyester, 12 percent spandex
  • Interior Cups: 100 percent polyester
  • Back Lining: Powermesh--83 percent nylon, 17 percent Lycra
  • Front Yoke Lining: 90 percent nylon, 10 percent spandex

Care Specifications:

  • Machine washable
  • Fasten the hooks before tossing them in the machine
  • Hang dry

Find Your Fit:

  • Band: Should be slightly more snug than a lingerie bra. Make sure you can comfortably take a deep breath with the bra fastened on the middle hook. Be sure the band doesn't ride up in the back. If it does, the band may be too loose and/or the straps need to be adjusted.
  • Cups: Adjust your breasts for a proper fit. They should be completely held within the cups without overflowing. Fabric should be smooth. Wrinkles or puckers indicate the cup is too big. Underwire should sit on your ribcage below the breast tissue and follow your natural shape.
  • Straps: Should offer minimal stretch to reduce up-and-down breast movement. Wider straps will disperse the weight and feel more comfortable. Straps should not dig in or slide off your shoulders. Adjustable straps offer a more custom fit.

About Moving Comfort:
Two female runners founded Moving Comfort in 1977 before there were women's workout clothes. In the 30-plus years since the founding, the company hasn't strayed from its original purpose. Moving Comfort uses high-quality, performance fabrics that have the right amount of stretch, perfect quick-wicking moisture management, and a healthy amount of comfort--cut exactly for a woman's body.

Moving Comfort follows the following guidelines in constructing high-performance athletic wear for women:

Moving means moving: The how doesn't matter--running, walking, weight training, yoga, martial arts, skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, horseback riding, golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, inline skating...Moving Comfort naturally understands and designs clothes for a woman's body, whatever that body was meant to do.

Quality comes first: Moving Comfort understands the kind of support and freedom needed in clothing, and how that clothing should feel against the skin. The company knows what keeps women warm and dry when it's cold and cool and dry when it's hot. Knowledge, expertise and high standards shape the fit, fabric and function of every garment Moving Comfort designs.

Fit affects everything: Keeping fit improves every aspect of a woman's life--reducing the incidence of heart disease, breast cancer, osteoporosis, depression, and drug and alcohol abuse. If a girl or woman is more comfortable when she's working out, she's more likely to keep at it. That's why Moving Comfort views its technical garments--and the great fit of each piece--as a means to encourage women to get fit and stay fit.

Apparel reviews of Moving Comfort Women's Fiona Bra

Customer Review: Best on the Market
Rating: 5 Stars

I've worn moving comfort bras for years now. They are the only bras that I can run with comfortably. They are so comfortable in fact, that I basically wear them all the time now.

I've also found that if I wear a black moving comfort bra under dresses or low cut tops where the center of the bra is visible people just think it is part of the shirt/dress or that I'm wearing an appropriate cami. Since I wear a DD this has really allowed shirts to fit that would have been too snug with a regular under-wire bra. That is to say, when I wear these bras I can get an entire dress size smaller. It also makes me appear a little less scandalous, not to mention, NOW I CAN DANCE! when I go out and I don't have to worry about a thing popping out, bouncing or hurting.

Customer Review: My search for the perfect sports bra is over!
Rating: 5 Stars

Most of my workouts are high impact and since I am a 34DD I need a great sports bra to keep the girls in place. I used to be a fan of triple layering a regular underwire bra along with a too small 'sports' bra with a finishing layer of tank top with built in shelf bra. Needless to say that was uncomfortable. I started doing research and that is when I found the Fiona by Moving Comfort. I was hesitant because it did not have an underwire but I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. This bra keeps things in place but does not feel restrictive. It minimizes bounce and can be adjusted to the perfect fit with its back hooks and straps with velcro. If you have big boobs and you want to keep them in place while you are keeping in shape look no further.

Customer Review: Amazing support
Rating: 5 Stars

I ordered two of these in black and white 36DD and WOW. Got the girls packed down, very comfortable, and minimal bounce! I jumped up and down in front of the mirror and was astounded by the difference they made. I'm used to struggling to find good bras for my bust size. These are solid. The shoulder strap is highly adjustable with a velcro bottom that simply sticks and stays stuck to the material at whatever length you choose. At the price I paid on Amazon, this is a steal; half the cost of my Victoria Secret bras, way more supportive, and sleek looking to boot. I just may convert to these as my daily drivers!I bought these for my Appalachian trail thru hike. I have yet to try them out at the gym, but I'm confident they will hold up great.

Customer Review: Holds 'em down!
Rating: 5 Stars

I run about 30 miles a week and am always on the hunt for a great sports bra. This Fiona Bra is a huge step up from any bra I've used and miles above my $15 Target sports bra. I wear a size 36 C/D regular bra. I went to Fleet Feet and got fitted for this Moving Comfort Fiona Bra and loved it. It sure keeps my girls from bouncing all around and becoming sore. I paid about $50 in the store for this bra so when I saw it here on amazon for so much less I bought 5 more! This bra really does work for larger breasted women. If I go on a really long hot run, the straps will sometimes rub a little rash on my shoulder. This happens where the strap velcros to itself. Compared to all other bra's I've tried, this is by far the best.

Customer Review: Love this workout bra!
Rating: 5 Stars

I'm a 34DD and this bra give me the support I need when I'm at the gym, hiking, or any outdoor activity. It has held up well to multiple washings, but I never put them in the dryer. It has adjustable padded straps which are great. I do have some chaffing when I run so I wear their underwire bra for that instead. Its good for moderate activities like most gym equipment since I like the freedom of not wearing an underwire everytime I go. I love this brand and no other company has come close to the fit and feel I get from these bras. I have to say though I do wear another light sports bra over top of this one because frankly I'm not a fan of the nip show!
