i've tried yankz (plastic parts break very easily), xtenex (difficult to get a good fit that's tigh enough to run in but loose enough to get on), speed laces (don't pull through lace-holes on shoes very easily), and these, which are definitely my favorite. The plastic piece is solid and easy to use, and the laces are thin enough that you can get your shoes reasonably tight by pulling on them. Just be aware that, like all elastic laces, they won't hold your feet as rigidly in place as traditional laces.
