These shorts are great for running. They have an inner compression short and it is not as tight as typical spandex compression pants. As a result, they are very comfortable.
There is a zipper key holder pocket in back, but it will only hold one key (not your key chain), and it is very short so some of the larger keys made today would not fit. The silver stripe shown in the photo is actually a sewn in stripe and there are (2) on each side. There is also a drawstring closure if the elastic waist should ever wear out or need to be tighter. The shorts hang straight with no noticeable flare which should be flattering. ~highly recommend these!
