I researched bags for a bit, and decided to go with Ogio Metro. I think this bag has a lot of strong points, but a also a couple of fatal flaws. It has a nice padded side/rear pocket for your laptop which only fits 15" and under laptops.If you want to play it safe on what bags your laptop will fit into check out ebags .It also has a pocket inside the main compartment, that you are supposed to be able to fit a laptop in, but I have a hard enough time squeezing a magazine in it, and couldnt see much more than maybe a 12" laptop fitting that designated area (if that). I love all of the random pockets great for small digital cameras, portable hard drives, cables, power supplies, randomness, & I also use the long compartment on the left side for my Umbrella (nice fit). I don't like how the main compartment doesn't open as wide as I'm used to.I thought it would at least hold a 12" vinyl record, but because of the design its impossible to fit in even with force. I haven't had any problem with lack of padding or the bag being uncomfortable while using, which I have seen other complain of ? The build of this bag is great and the warranty is even better. The extra strong handle is a nice touch. It also looks great ! I picked up the red (Burgundy) one to hopefully increase visiblity while using this while commuting on my bike.Customer Review: Greatness

Pretty much everything about this backpack is great. It lacks a little bit of space but its not enough to make this backpack unbuyable. It has a lot of compartments labeled and such all around it. The only problem I had was Amazon sent me brown and I paid for black, but I couldn't return it because my old backpack couldn't handle it anymore.Customer Review: Doesn't fit a 17" laptop

After much consideration I ordered this bag. I checked the measurements of my laptop and it should have fit but it does not. Be aware that it may not fit your 17" laptop. I liked the design and the padding was excellent. However, I did not like the shoulder straps. The padding on them does not go down far enough and the buckle dug into me.Customer Review: Looks good, but built CHEAP!!! Fell apart in 2 months...

I'm a Network Engineer and I travel a lot for work. I needed a laptop backpack that looked good and did everything I needed. After much research I ran into the OGIO Metro. I did my homework on it and from what I saw and read, it was the best thing ever made since sliced bread. I went ahead and ordered me an Indigo colored one. When I got the bag was I was impressed. Let's now fastforward 2 months. Stitching started to come apart with the zipper that held the laptop in, stitching also started to came apart by the handle of the bag. The stitching on the zipper on the bottom pocket started to come apart. A few days later the zipper broke. I can no longer close the bottom pocket. Called OGIO about this issue and I'm getting a replacement bag. Unfortunately, since the Metro is no longer being made they are sending me a Santo.
If you are looking for a new laptop bag look elsewhere. I also read reviews on this bag and other OGIO bags and they all appear to have the same issues with the stitching. Sorry to say, while the bag looks good and feels good the durability is none!
I've been eyeing other bags and came across this one: Wenger Blue 17" SwissGear Ibex Notebook Computer Backpack Model GA-7316-06F00. I have to see how the Santo I'm getting from OGIO holds up. If it starts to fall apart like the Metro did, I'm going to get me the SwissGear Ibex bag.
OGIO was a BIG let down!
