My daughter loves this jacket. It's very cozy, easy to zip up, and she gets loads of compliments on it. The pink color is a toned-down fuscia. It's really attractive, and the detailing on the sleeve is really fun. I love that she is the only one in her school who has this jacket! Makes it easy for me to spot her!
The hood is large, though, and it doesn't have drawstrings or velcro closures, so if you're looking to keep your head very warm, probably you'd need a hat also.
