Customer Review: Good idea in theory, but in practice

I carried this backpack in places like Iraq, Miami, San Juan Puerto Rico. Backpack is large enough to carry items needed for carryon, but quickly gets heavy. As the previous reviewer pointed out,the straps are NOT slashproof. And trust me, you will loose items that migrate to the bottom of the pack. The outside pocket does not have any real zipper compartments to prevent loose items from constantly moving around. The main compartemtn zipper busted and can't be replaced easily.

I ended up moving to the smaller, better organized Treksafe 100. Yes it is smaller, but this means no problems
walking across college campuses, airports and putting in a crowded carryon luggage bin. I saved the slashproof compartment to act as a laptop sleeve.
