Bought this for my son for Halloween, the hat is charming, the apron more basic. It fit a 14 yo easily, if you were a plumper adult, I don't know if it would work, but it made a lovely, fun costume and it's very reasonably priced. It's going to get a lot of use in our home.
Edited to add we stained it copiously with corn syrup and red food colouring for fake blood (it was Halloween, after all!) and to my pleasure the entire sticky mess washed out beautifully and the apron is pristine again. So if you want to use it as a real apron, it would work well too.

Very good costume/short term uniform for the money; add a white shirt and you'll look the part. This was bought for a 10 yr. old boy, we had to fold the hat band in half to shorten it enough to stay out of his eyes. It was a good buy and shipped fast!
