"Pilates Suit Womens Not Too Short Exercise Workout Shorts"...

I would have liked these "not too short" shorts to be just a bit longer. I'm pretty short- 5'2" - have a nasty scar from a hip replacement that comes about halfway down my thigh and it was almost but not quite covered. I measured the inseam and that was just at 4". I wore them while sunning by the pool, and my tan line was almost as high as a bathing suit would have been, but not quite. Aside from that (at 58yrs. old the "not too short" part being the major selling point for me) I have to say that these are a good quality pair of shorts. And I guess the question of how short is too short? is really subjective. If I was 35 or 40 years younger, I might not think them short enough!

They are a snug fit - I bought the size I always wear in shorts - and covered other places(ahem) very well. I never feel like I have to be pulling them down in back - no riding up. Very comfortable for the purpose of working out, pilates, yoga etc.
They washed up nice, with no shrinkage and kept their shape. They faded a little - I compared to a brown jacket of the same line I bought but haven't washed yet. But I can't say if that is from the pool(which I suspect) or the wash. Guess after I wash the jacket I will be able to tell and maybe update this.

I'm even thinking I may order another couple of pair. For the deal they are offered at right now they are well worth having a couple of extra pair. Also make a nice alternative for those not comfortable in a bathing suit to wear with a tee-shirt.

update: I have washed the jacket(see my review at:Pilates Suit Womens Core Comfort Zip Exercise Workout Jacket and it barely lost any color, so must have been the pool chlorine that faded the shorts.
