The thick straps are very nice and comfortable. It's very supportive. I never considered a front close bra ,but now I'll never go back. This runs true to size, so order accordingly. It holds it's shape very well. I wore the same bra over and over and over again and it still has great shape and support. I used to buy only Victoria Secret bra's but compared to this bra their products are nothing but cheap tawdry crap. This bra is supportive, holds it shape, runs true to size, keeps your boobs in place, good for long time wear, very pleasing overall. I own one in every color. The black is kinda of sexy b/c it looks a bit vintage-y. I will never wear any other kind of bra again. I plan on buying more and more so I have a steady supply in case they stop making them. I hope they never stop. This bra has full coverage unlike many other ones that plunge down and then your nips pop out along w/ half your breast. I have larger than average breasts ( 38D) and I feel completely supported in them. I even run on the treadmill and there's no bouncing. ( If you order a band down 36 instead of 38) YOU WILL NEVER WANT OR NEED ANY OTHER KIND OF BRA AGAIN!!!! I can't express how wonderful this bra is.
