Bought this robe for my wife. This is a perfect choice for anyone who dislikes the bulkiness of a total terrycloth robe, yet wants coverage and comfort. She likes the material and is surprised by how warm it is.

If you want your wife to wear something sleek and sexy, go get one of those silk numbers from Victoria's Secret (that she'll wear once or twice for you if you ask nicely, then bury it in the back of the closet). This robe, on the other hand, is something she'll use every day (unless it's hot and your air conditioning is out).
