I really wanted snowpants not for skiing or extreme winter sports, but to stay warm and dry outside while shoveling or sledding. I looked everywhere for a reasonablly priced pair of snowpants and was having trouble finding anything for less than $100 for what I would need them for. I found these particular Rawik Women's Ski Bibs and thought I'd give them a try for the very reasonable cost. I was not expecting a super high quality pant, but I was in for a surprise. These pants are not bulky, but kept me dry and warm while out in the snow. I tried them not long after I got them, just wearing a pair of jeans underneath. I was comfortable the entire time even with the added wind chill. I wore them through knee-deep snow with northeast PA temps in the teens and was perfectly satisfied with the quality.
I am 5'4", about 110 lbs and ordered a small. The size is perfect for me and I have a little extra room for bulkier underlayers.
