After two weeks in Italy we were happy we purchased the money belt. Especially in Rome, where the tourist crowds get pretty thick. The belt stays tight to the body and is almost completely undetectable. The one disadvantage is that you will sweat a lot, but I would rather sweat through my clothes and on to my money and important docs than have them stolen from me. My wife simply put all the money and docs in a plastic bag to keep anything from getting wet.Customer Review: product is as good as advertised

I have bought it but haven't used it yet I intend to because I have been advised to do so We will be traveling around Italy on our own by rented car so we have to rely on ourselves. It will only protect your money passport etc from pickpockets not from thieves that mug you they probably Know where to look for your money. Keep some money handy in your pocket or purse not only for your convenience but as a decoy.Customer Review: Lightweight and easy to hide

Because the money belt is so thin and lightweight, I found it comfortable and easy to hide inside my slacks. It does have a long strap, which means it can be used by people of all sizes. Since I am fairly small, I just cut off the excess and was good to go.
A removable plastic liner is included to keep materials dry. I found the liner awkward to open and close; however. Perhaps I used it wrong.

We bought two , and we use them while traveling -- particularly abroad. If you perspire, these dry quickly. Definitely washable. We each carry copies of the others passport, flights, drivers licenses and such key information. It makes replacement so much easier. We don't carry much real money, but use credit cards when possible. We notify card issuers ahead of time. We carry only one card each.Customer Review: Good solid product

Purchased the money belt for a trip to china. I guess success is not having anything stolen, so far, so good. It has plenty of room for lots of cash, and other docs. I thought it would be a bit uncomfortable, but i actually forgot about it, even on planes when we were sitting for long periods of time.
it feels solid, and since it's worn under the clothes, was very secure.
