Had an 80s birthday party and the costume was a big hit with everyone there. The only problems are that the skirt is see through so you need to have a pair a black shorts underneath... I just wore a pair of gym shorts. And that also I'm tiny but if you are thin it might be a bit baggy, but still fits comfortably. Everyone loved the costume and commented on it during the party and even weeks afterward. It also worked well in the Australian heat. I wore a pair hot pink leg warmers with it, which sadly I owned already, and a pair of black high heel shoes... pulled it all together very well and brought me back to my younger years... very Cindy Lauper!
