Customer Review: Gorgeous Costume - But not Sewn Properly

A gorgeous dress -- my daughter looked amazing ... after I made the alterations to the dress. It was really wrinkled it must be steamed (NO IRON). The lace is not cotton as it appears to be in this description picture. Secondly, the lace is a nylon lace and it never makes it past the hem line. I actually cut the lace off and attached it to the dress by sewing it along the hem line with nylon string. Once I did that which took 2 hours I then steamed it. It looked amazing. The best Dorothy costume on Halloween. It is definitely worth the price -- but expect to make your own alterations. All the dresses have the same defect I called and asked. Dresses were made in China and probably made in bulk.
