I recently bought my first pair of Spanx and they got a run in the toe within 3 hours of my wearing them. This was through no error of my own - nothing wrong with my feet/toes; they were, in fact, freshly pedicured - so I do consider it poor workmanship (perhaps quality control is going out the window as the company's popularity soars?). I have gotten more wear out of pantyhose that cost a meager fraction of these. I will admit that the body shaping effects in the stomach, rear, and thighs is impressive, but it is simply not worth the $28 price tag for one wear. I would consider purchasing their underwear so that I do not have to deal with the hosiery issues.Customer Review: Not good

I saw all the FANTASTIC reviews on this product, so I decided what the heck, I might as well try it.
This is definately meant for small girls who have a bit of a pudge in their midsection. Not for fuller women. I weigh about 160 and am about 5'8" and it took me like 10 minutes just to get the darn thing on! Then when I finally got it on, it was SO uncomfortable and weird. Sent it back for a full refund.

I have always purchased nylons from specialty boutiques or from places like Ann Taylor. I used to own a women's clothing store and carried the Spanx high powered panties, cami's and body shapers. I wear tights or hosiery almost every day and just assumed that Spanx Nylons would work great. I was find with the shaper portion of them but they ran immediately... before I even left the house. I didn't snag them on anything, they just ran. Since I purchased 3 pairs I wore the other two the following days and each time, like clockwork, they ran. There are plenty of great companies that make hosiery. Let Spanx stick to what they do best.... body shaping. Stay away from their hosiery.Customer Review: Huge disappointment in quality of item

After hearing raves about the panty hose I broke down and spent $26. They did not offer any more support than discount store control tops and ran and got a hole after 5 hours of wear. These are no more supportive in the leg than regular hose. Company would not issue me a refund upon my complaint. Will not purchase again. For this price, they should be more durable.
