These pantyhose are great for everyday use during pregnancy. They are sheer thru the leg, but with good (not tight) support thru the mid-section and thighs. Very similar to other spanx items. As with any hosiery, there is the risk of runs and snags, but these hose are still very good for the mama-to-be who simply must have quality hosiery in her wardrobe. Also, the hose are not too heavy, so they could be worn comfortably (at least as comfortably as *any* hosiery can be worn) during the warm summer months.
