I first bought these last summer to help stretch/stimulate my feet due to on-going plantar fasciitis. Rubbing for five-ten minutes the day after a hard run takes away most, if not all, of the residual pain. Same for any day during which I've spent a lot of time on my feet. I find these much better than using golf balls, which are about the same size, because the Rubz ball does not slip, and it doesn't feel quite as hard against my heel bone.
