This is a divine little ball. Forget American Express, I don't leave home without this little jewel. It has an amazing accupressure effect. The little nubby bits are the best foot message. Highly highly recommended. In terms of the person who said it was too hard, they must have very sensitive feet. The numbs are flat and not pointy, at all. Perhaps they could use it with a sock on. I first bought these last summer to help stretch/stimulate my feet due to on-going plantar fasciitis. Rubbing for five-ten minutes the day after a hard run takes away most, if not all, of the residual pain. Same for any day during which I've spent a lot of time on my feet. I find these much better than using golf balls, which are about the same size, because the Rubz ball does not slip, and it doesn't feel quite as hard against my heel bone. I love this little ball. I use this ball for about 5 mins before I go to bed and 5 mins when I wake up on each foot and I no longer have pain in my feet or trouble walking. I have plantar faciitis which can and has been extreemly painful. The shipping was around $9(because the box it was mailed in was the size of a shoe box) which I thought to be a little on the expensive side but it was completely worth it! For me it has paid for itself by taking away the pain in my feet. I recommend to anyone who has plantar faciitis.
