These things are great. My husband works an unusual schedule and always used to set the snooze on his alarm clock at least twice to wake up. I, on the other hand, woke up the first time and every time after that. The shake awake works so well that we have purchased 3 of them. The second one was to replace the first one, which was forgotten at a hotel. I bought the third one in case he loses the second one.Customer Review: A good solid performer

This is actually the second ShakeAwake I have purchased. I sleep with a CPAP and find the vibrator mode works well for me. I have had it for several years. This summer, I carried it to England and China. It feels solid and has certainly been dependable. The numbers are large and easy to read. I bought one for my granddaughter because she wants to set her alarm without awaking her little brother. It is also handy just to check the time if I wake up by pushing the button to back-light the dial. I would recommend it to anyone as an alarm even if you do not use the silent mode. I am hard of hearing. My regular alarm would wake my wife. I was looking for a vibrating alarm clock when I found shake awake! It is perfect. Clip it under your pillow and it vibrates to wake you up! It will NOT wake your wife, spouse, whomever!

My husband is almost deaf he was always afraid he would fall asleep watching TV during the day and miss picking up the grandchildren from school. Then I found this device. You can use it as an alarm clock or a vibrating alarm. This is perfect because it is small enough to put into your shirt pocket and if you fall asleep the vibration will awaken you immediately!
