Description of Sierra Designs Men's Lava Jacket

The Lava blocks moisture from the outside, preserves body heat and uses Prim aloft Eco insulation for guilt-free performance in cold and damp conditions.
A workhorse jacket, the Sierra Designs Lava keeps it green, using PrimaLoft Eco recycled insulation for warmth. Two-layer waterproof-breathable Drizone protects the recycled PrimaLoft Eco insulation. YKK Aquaguard zippers seal out the worst of it and armpit vents spill heat after you've beaten the cold.

PrimaLoft Eco uses fibers made from 50 percent recycled materials in combination with PrimaLoft fibers to create a high loft performance insulation. PrimaLoft insulation is warm, lightweight, water resistant, with superior softness to keep you dry and comfortable. It has a 60 gram per square meter weight and is highly compressible.

The Drizone 2L highly breathable nylon ripstop fabric allows moisture to escape while keeping the elements out. It's made from 100 percent nylon and features PVC-free seam tape. It has an 87 gram per square meter weight and offers 10,000mm waterproofness and 10,000 g/mē/24-hour breathability.
