I ordered my Spanx to wear with my wedding dress. I really did have a hard time with it staying up on my ribs.
The seams DO show, and where they end on the thigh shows so I can't wear them with pants.
Customer Review: Hate the Split Crotch; Very Tight

I didn't realize this product had a split crotch until I opened the package. I hate it! How can a normally modest person wear this with a dress? You have to wear tights or underwear over it unless you want to re-enact the scene in "Basic Instinct."
Although by the chart I'm well within the smallest size group, it was a struggle to get them on and I have abdominal pain. I think I should have bought the next size up.

I've now tried four Spanx products -- the high-waisted mid-thigh shaper, the power panty, the hide & sleek camisole, and the cross-over hide & sleek camisole. The high-waisted mid-thigh shaper is by FAR the best of the bunch. Although it doesn't make me look significnatly slimmer, it does remove the bulges from slightly too tight pants, giving me a more streamlined shape. The fabric is comfortable, and overall it would be perfect except for the extremely-annoying seam right down the center of the front! With the seam, I cannot wear it with more body-hugging fabric shirts, which is when I need this the most. Please make this product without the seam!! I think when I bought these I was looking to buy a size B but I read reviews about how everyone had to return & order the next size up so I just did the latter first. I bought a C instead of a B, it's a snug fit at first but looks great and is pretty easy to get on. Kinda tricky at first but it works. The ONLY thing I HATE about these Spanx is that the first day you wear them they probably won't roll down but every day AFTER they will && it's kinda noticeable. However, I just apply some tape to both sides and problem solved. So glad I purchased these && I would LOVE more!.Customer Review: Size?
