It smooths, it shapes, it flattens - I really did look like I'd lost inches in the mid-section and spent a chunk of time toning..... BUT it did not stay put, as advertised. I did get the right size and it was fairly comfortable, as long as I didn't move around or stretch or bend too much. It rolled down and started to irritate. I actually sewed a piece of elastic and a snap to the front and my bra held it in place there, but the back kept doing the same thing. The body of the panty also laddered (ran) when I first put it on. The product *is* sturdier than pantyhose, but I was surprised at how easily this happened. Overall, disappointing. I will probably try again, perhaps sewing holder straps in the back, but I'm afraid this product did not perform as advertised for me.
Also, despite the fact that there is a "vent" so you can pee without disrobing entirely, I found that experience disconcerting! My body wanted to pee but my brain was convinved I was still wearing undies. Not the product's fault, but an amusing side effect to consider. :D

This is a nice product, easy to get on and comfortable. It helps but really,you need to go on a diet and work out more, it is not going to slim you that ten lbs. It does give you a smoother look and I will use it again. It is anti sexy so make sure your man does not see you peel off, it is the ultimate granny panty. The fabric is frail so be careful, but that makes it light and comfortable. The one bad thing is-- this is crotchless undies. They put a pee hole that I swear lets the breezes in but if you used it you'd probably soak it so get rid of it. You wear them like undies and cant wear undies beneath them, so when you go you just pull them down duh. Meanwhile why the goosebumps? Oh yeah there's a hole at your naked crotch. No mini skirts or its all Basic Instinct.... Great product but I hope they get rid of that crotch hole! Maybe they think your smooth self will drive a man so crazy he turns into a skirt lifter? As long as he does not see them I guess you're in luck! I wore them on a December night in the mid west and knew it.............Customer Review: size matters

I bought this with the worry that if i get the smaller size it will not fit, So I went with the next size up and when I tried it on it really did nothing for me.I suggest making sure you buy the proper size so you dont feel like you have wasted your money.Customer Review: Definately buying more!!!

I just got my first pair today and they are fantastic! I can't get over the difference they make. I tried on an outfit that I have been reluctant to wear and with the Spanx Higher Power Panties I plan to wear that outfit to work on Monday!!Customer Review: Not for short girls

I am 5'2', 135 pounds. The sales girl said that I should go with size B because I am 10 pounds over the limit for size A. I've read other reviews and the truth seems to be that if you are on the short side of the spectrum these things are just too long for your torso. The top part of these go up over my bust as opposed to hitting right below my bra line. I tried rolling the top over right under my bra line to eliminate the excess but that didn't work at all and just gave me a pudge of backfat. The front seam also puckered because the length was just too long for my torso.
Also, they don't really make you skinnier, they just smooth you out. Yes, your line is better, but you aren't all that much thinner. I've heard of celebrities wearing more than one pair at a time to suck them in but I doubt it works, the B size was plenty tight and it didn't take even an inch off of my waste.
They need to make a petite version of these, until then, if you are under 5'4" strongly consider getting a different style or something else.
Wish I could return them.
