This item did not slim me at all. In fact, it made my post-c-section tummy more noticeable because clothes cling to it and it also has a harder, rounder look. If you are trying to avoid jiggle, it works, but otherwise, a waste (or waist haha) of money.Customer Review: Rolls up all the time!

I was very excited when I received my spanx, especially with all the hype from celebrities. Boy was i disappointed! First of all, it's tremendously difficult to hook all four straps to your bra. I tried wearing it without the straps, since they were so difficult to put on, and it kept rolling up!!! Don't get this product!!!!!! Customer Review: Just Not Worth It

I purchased this to wear for my Anniversary Party. I needed my husband's help with all of the little bra connecting straps. Nothing like starting a romantic evening with "Hey Sweetie, can you help me put on my ridiculous and most definitely not sexy shapeware?" After finally getting everything on it was minimally useful. It did provide a small amount of slimming but not enough to make it worth the circus act to get it on or the general discomfort of the body suit feel. It wasn't terribly uncomfortable but it was an annoyance and not something I would have ignored as the night went on and it became more sweaty underneath.
Absolutely, forget it if you have to use the restroom because taking it off would require you to completely disrobe so I used the small opening at the bottom. Even though I was being ridiculously careful I still managed to wet the suit a little. After about an hour or two I just gave up and took it off because it wasn't worth the minimal slimming effect. All in all just not worth it especially at the ridiculously high price.

I have been using this bodysuit/shaper for 2 weeks now. I find the straps are not necessary because this thing is not coming down at least for me and I move around and do a lot of bending. That gusset opening would lead one to think the suit was made by a man (probably was) because there is no way to handle nature's call w/o pulling the whole thing down. Maybe I'm missing something, but there is just no way to comfortably do your thing. However, the fact that it gives me the hold and look I want, its a small price to pay. I will probably order a couple more so I can switch off. I did not find it to be a problem wearing in the warm weather. I have had it on in 85 degree heat and did not have a problem, of course everyone is different. Sometimes ya gotta make a sacrafice. By the way be sure to get the right size. I wear a size 16 so I ordered the large and at first I thought this is not going to fit. Just take your time putting it on and you'll see it works.Customer Review: Buy a size too small.

Okay, let me just say it is an incredible gymnastic feat to pull this onto your body. I have been wearing generic 'Spanx' for years to smooth out bumps and what-not, but nothing has ever been a challenge like this.
I got some good advice. Buy a size too small. I would have been inclined to buy a 1X, as I wear a 14 or 16 dress size; but I went ahead and bought the XL. Seriously thought about buying the L... Anyway, buy the smallest one you can possibly justify. This bad boy will suck you in, tighten you up, and absolutely correct your posture. Plus, if you are top heavy this thing is amazing because you can WEAR YOUR OWN BRA! None of those absurd, flimsy little bras built into body shapers that leave you bouncing more than Baywatch.
The straps to your bra are tricky at best. Very thoughtful though. Going to the restroom is a challenge of your grace and athleticism, but can be done.
Overall, I would say a definite yes to another of these. Girls, we jiggle! This will make sure you don't.
