I received these as a birthday gift this year and thoroughly enjoy them. Even though I have big toes they slipped on easily and fit snuggly and comfortably. I love that they grip the mat during my yoga practice. I do a lot of power yoga and find that if I am barefoot I tend to slip and have a hard time holding a pose. These completely solved the problem. I actually like them better than using Gaiam Thirsty Yoga Towel (Smokey Purple) over my mat. I have not had any issues mentioned by other reviewers of them stretching out or losing their shape when I sweat. They stay snug to the body and although they get damp, the 'grippies' on the bottom still do their job well.
I also appreciate that these wash up beautifully in the washing machine. I haven't had any problems with loose strings or pilling. Overall these are a durable and useful product and I highly recommend them. I just wish these were a little cheaper so I could buy more pairs!

Wanted grippy toe socks for yoga (spread those toes!) and to not slip when I got a little sweaty. So far so good. I got the tan ones in medium (I wear ladies 9.5). They are on the thin side but they feel nice, rather silky like with the organic cotton. The little grippy nubs cover the entire bottom of the foot and even up around the heel a little bit; only thing strange is the nubbies only go up halfway each toe. For example, on looking at each toe, the nubs go up as far as where the toe kinda curls, so the padded part of the toe has no nubbies on it. This hasn't seemed to be a problem yet, but it made me wonder why only half of the toe was grippy. See my photo for all the sizing and washing info. I air dry mine after washing; maybe the nubs will last longer that way.Customer Review: Great, but not perfect...

I bought these form-fitting socks to use with my power yoga DVDs (shameless Rodney Yee plug goes here, ha-ha). They work great on a yoga mat with very little slipping and sliding. However, I had not anticipated that some of the poses would cause the socks to cut in between my toes, which becomes uncomfortable if you're holding a pose for any length of time. While this is not a fault of the socks, because otherwise they're very comfortable and warm. I decided to give them four out of five stars for this reason. I'm not sure how to improve the design (the five-toe construction is certainly what allows the socks to be non-slip), so I would still recommend them for anyone doing yoga who wants to improve their traction and keep their feet warm.Customer Review: My 2nd review

I wrote a rave review of these the day I got them. They were absolutely terrific and gave me purchase doing yoga on a slippery rug. However, the next time I wore them for a longer session, they got stretched out. My toes kept falling out of them and they became twisted around my feet and just generally got in the way.
I put on a new pair for another session and when doing any lunges or poses with my legs in a wide stance, they were very uncomfortable.
Oh well. The "concept" is great, but they don't really work unless you're doing very little movement. I wish someone would come up with something like this that does the job!

I actually love these socks, and they're great for gentle yoga, hatha yoga, and general wear. My feet feel really good in them. They are helping my tendonitis. But for vinyasa/flow yoga they're no good. Anything involving sliding the toes causes the socks to come off the toes, or twist up around the toes, and then you have to stop and wiggle the toes back into their sleeves and pull up the socks. Very distracting! But I gotta tell you, I love them anyway and am buying more.
