Umbrella is made in China, quality/workmanship/parts are brittle but Totes offers a lifetime warranty for any manufacturing defect. If the umbrella is to be defective in materials or workmanship, or fails to function properly Totes will replace it.
Auto Open Auto Close button jams at times on my gift Umbrella. Has SunGuard UPF 50+ for sun or rain. It's small so as a gift for petite women it will be just fine.
