For me this is a great umbrella. It has good coverage and I don't have to worry about it breaking or opening inside out in the strong winds I get in my part of the world. I had two totes umbrella's of this kind and lost one. I left one of them some where and I was not very happy about it. So here I am replacing it with another Totes. That was quite a few years ago since I bought the two umbrella's, so I'm hoping the quality is still the same. I hope I am not disappointed or I will be sending it back.

Opens automatically by pushing a button on the handle. Closes easily with a push from the canopy end and snaps securely with a noticeable click.
