Apparel reviews of Totes Titanium Auto-Open/Close UmbrellaCustomer Review: PERFECT! Rating: 5 StarsI've been looking for a small umbrella with both automatic open and close and this one totally fits the bill. I particulalry love the automatic closing so I don't get wet closing it. The titanium spokes haven't been tested yet but the other reviewers gave those high marks as well so i expect it to perform well in the wind. i am going to Europe on a 3 week trip and it is exactly what I wanted to take with me.
Customer Review: Great umbrella Rating: 5 StarsThis is a great umbrella. It's affordable, opens and closes easily (and on its own, of course), and it isn't flimsy like the super cheap umbrellas. I no longer have to worry about my umbrella flipping inside out from the wind or suddenly collapsing on me. My only issue with this umbrella is that it's a little too long to fit easily in my purse (which is what I would call a medium-sized purse), but I guess I can only get so much out of one product!
Customer Review: Disappointingly Chinsy Rating: 3 StarsI bought this umbrella because my old one wore out. The build quality on this is frankly quite poor. Metal parts do not fit well and I can't imagine that this will fare very well in the rain. I would buy a different umbrella if I had it to do over again.
Customer Review: Nice Umbrella - Difficult to close Rating: 3 StarsI received this umbrella about a month ago. It's a nice size when closed, fits in my purse, and is big enough to cover me and another person in the rain. My only issue is that I have trouble closing it in it's locked position. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries to get it to lock. Maybe it'll get easier as I get more used to it.
Customer Review: Totes Titanium vs GustBuster 43" Rating: 1 StarsI bought a Totes Titanium and a 43" GustBuster for comparisons purposes, they were in a similar price range.
Totes is a much lighter umbrella, it also broke on the 2nd day.
GustBuster is a much heaftier umbrella and I haven't seen it flip on me once.
I now walk around with a smile in high sideways winds because people are ducking for cover, losing their umbrellas, watching their umbrellas break in half, and the gust buster just stays open (it doesn't protect from the rain if you keep holding it up, but this is the best view of everyone else's umbrella breaking).
My only regret with the GustBuster is not getting a bigger one. I just ordered a 48" and a 62" just in case.
I hope my experience helps you make your choice.
