Description of Totes Titanium Auto-Open/Close Umbrella
Rugged design features titanium reinforced ribs that provide strength and durability while still being lightweight and portable. Automatic Open and Close mechanism opens and closes the umbrella at the push of a button. Measures 11 in. collapsed and opens to a full 40 in. diameter umbrella canopy. Totes Titanium Auto-Open/Close Umbrella
I received this umbrella the other day. Like another reviewer, it did say mens umbrella. It's light weight. The opening is 40" around. Yes, it's easy to open and close. Although you do have push it down to the compact size.
Although Titanium is the metal, the umbrella does not look that strong. I don't think it will stop it from turning inside out in the wind.
Not the best umbrella ever. Totes has a good reputation, but they do make clunkers on occasion. Over priced for an umbrella too.
Other then that it does what an umbrella should do. Keep you dry...

I would always buy cheap umbrellas for a few dollars and they would give out within a few weeks. I have used a $20 totes umbrella for years under high winds and pouring rain and it withstood it all. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and I know plenty of people who have been using a totes umbrella for a decade or more. To add to this, it is very small and easy to carry around, but can fit two full-sized adults with room to spare. The pushbutton opens and closes the umbrella with ease too. This umbrella is indestructible. It is strong, lightweight and just wait to see the looks on people's faces when not only you open it up with the push of a button but also close it with a push of a button. Really well make. Will not withstand gale force winds but nothing will. It is built to last a lifetime as long as you don't forget it somewhere. That is the only reason that you would ever have to buy another one, except as a gift for a friend or loved one.Customer Review: Durable and portable

It's so hard to find an umbrella small enough to carry around, yet strong enough to withstand strong winds. This umbrella has matched my expectations so far, perfect for college students who carry backpacks or bags around. I just received this umbrella to replace a Totes I have had for years. I cannot open this with "a push of the button." It is a real struggle to get it to open, and another struggle to close it. I am very disappointed and am returning it today.
