The first time I opened this umbrella, one of the mechanical rods bent. I closed it, attempted to open again and a spring popped out. What the heck? This was right out of the box, with no damage to the packaging. I expected a decent umbrella based on reviews, guess not!Customer Review: Totes not so good anymore!

I just received this umbrella to replace a Totes I have had for years. I cannot open this with "a push of the button." It is a real struggle to get it to open, and another struggle to close it. I am very disappointed and am returning it today.

I've used this umbrella only a handful of times, and rarely in high winds. I bought it in August 2008 and already by December, half the spokes have bent and some have broken. If only I lived closer to a Totes Outlet to exchange this.
