Apparel reviews of European Travel Water HeaterCustomer Review: LOVE THIS WATER HEATER FOR TRAVEL! Rating: 5 Stars
I extensively researched ways to heat water while travelling with carry-on only. As much as I would like to use something as compact as a stick-in-the-mug heater, they don't rate as stable enough. I don't want it to blow or go dead while on the road, which sounds common. I also need compact, and fast! This little pot and it's 2 included cups is PERFECT. It heats very quickly; I have read others similar take a long time (like 8-10 mins) to boil. I combine it with the AeroPress coffee maker (thanks so much to a flight attendant who mentioned it in a review of this little Go pot, as I'd not heard of it, and now I'm in coffee heaven and use it daily), and we have incredible fresh coffee around the world. It could also be used for more than water, since as others say, the coils aren't exposed, so you can clean it better. I choose to stick to hot water only. It came with a converter so it works great here in US.

This is the best electric kettle/water heater I've ever owned! It's small, so you can take it with you anywhere; it has a dual-voltage switch, so it works in the US as well as abroad. I bought mine at Schiphol about 3 years ago and have used it nearly every time I travel, and at home too--it boils fast and it's perfect for that first cup of tea in the morning. Sadly, mine has given out after a trip to Brazil and it now takes way too long to boil, this after having used it almost every day since I bought it. The only downside is that it's expensive-I guess because of the low value of the dollar (it costs about 23 pounds in the UK) and it seems that there is no troubleshoot/technical information available if something goes wrong.
Customer Review: Love it!! Rating: 5 Stars
I looooove this gadget! It heats water real quick and it's very lightweight. I am a flight attendant and I fly international and in most foreign countries other than UK and France it is hard to find a Water Heater in the room. It's dual voltage so its a plus for me. I put it in a little puch and throw it in my suitcase and there we go. It's very lightweight and the cord wraps around it nicely. Also it brought a little 110 plug, how sweet. It's been already to Africa and Paris, not that you can't get a great cup of cafe au lait in Paris. But it's very convenient while I'm getting ready having a nice cup of tea or coffee. Haven't tried for soups yet,but I guess it'll do the trick as well.I totally recomend it.
Customer Review: Small, efficient & fast - 2 cups included & no exposed coils Rating: 5 Stars
I love this kettle! When I travel, I pair it with the Aeropress coffee maker (which fit the cups perfectly) so I can have a great cup of coffee wherever I go. The heating coils are not exposed, making the kettle more expensive, but more durable in the long run and easier to keep clean. The kettle was originally made for European use, but the plug adapter (included) works fine for American outlets. On the down side, there is a minor design flaw: the plastic tab that holds the electric cord wrapped around the body is flimsy; it doesn't last long.
Customer Review: Hard working little water heater Rating: 5 Stars
I am very pleased with the performance of this water heater. I have burnt up coils before, in just a few days, so I was reluctant to spend the money. I'm glad that I did. This heater worked fabulously on a 3 week trip to Peru at 220 voltage, and a week in Jamaica at 110, and is still going strong. It can bring water to boiling surprisingly fast. It takes up very little space in the suitcase too. I'm taking this baby with me everywhere I travel.
