This is the LAST product review my husband and I will post at Amazon. We will NEVER buy anything from Amazon again. Amazon's recent behavior in censoring book reviews along with offering offensive, slanderous tags for a book my husband recently reviewed, has destroyed our trust in Amazon.
The product we bought, a luggage scale, was received on time and in good condition. We tried it out and it seemed to work fine. The company, Luggage Pro,seems to run a first rate business, polite and attentive. I would recommend using them but NOT THROUGH AMAZON.

The Travelon Travel Scale showed my big suitcase to weigh about 35 lbs., but the suitcase weighed 38 lbs. on the airlines' scale at the airport, so my scale was underweighing the suitcase. During my trip, I bought souvenirs. After I repacked the suitcase for my return trip, the scale showed the suitcase to be 55 lbs. I shifted some of the heavier souvenirs to my carryon bag and lowered the weight of the suitcase to about 46 lbs. as shown on the Travelon Travel Scale. On the airlines' scale at the airport, the suitcase weighed 50 lbs. exactly, so I avoided having to pay the $50 fee for an overweight bag! Great scale to have, as long as the differences in the accuracy of various scales are kept in mind. Customer Review: Great little gadget

I purchased this luggage scale before going on vacation to Hawaii. It was a great way to have peace of mind on how much your luggage weighed to save extra charges for overages. It also has a handy little tape measurer to measure your luggage or anything else. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants to save money when flying. This is a whole lot cheaper than paying overeages on luggage.Customer Review: Works as promised

Scale works as promised. The black line indicator helps to read the scale after disengaging the luggage (need to lift the luggage slowly and steadily, otherwise the surge of force moves the black line further than the actual weight). So far, readings have been accurate enough to avoid airline charges.Customer Review: Stitch in time saves Nine

Very handy, easy to carry along. No more spring balance or the weighing machine. It's now a part of my travel kit.
