This wallet is exactly what I needed! It's large enough to carry a pen, notepad, cash, my sunglasses and a slim cigarette case, plus all my cards and ID. Oh, and a large smartphone! I use the clear pocket underneath the flap for my transit pass. It's also small enough to use as a wallet in my medium-sized work tote. It has pockets on top of pockets. I've seen a complaint or two about the long flap closure, but this simply keeps items more secure (and acts as a cover for the convenient slip-style card pocket underneath the flap). As for small items falling out, there are two zipper pockets- one in the main compartment and one in the back zipper compartment. There's plenty of room in those for a small sewing kit and change. My ink pen easily clips to the deep see-through pocket at the rear of the main compartment. I can't say enough about this handy little wallet! It won't fully replace a purse, but it's great if you use multiple purses and bags, and for those short trips when you don't need your "full arsenal"! My boyfriend is thinking of purchasing one, since the overall design is unisex and it can be added to a belt or worn around the waist using it's own removable strap. I think it's an awesome value!
