I've inspected many rain pant styles from various companies, only to wonder what exactly warrants a $70 price tag. Is it durable material with seam sealed stitching? Is it a good fit? Style? Pockets on the side and the back? Zippered legs for easy-on with shoes or boots? A mesh lining for added comfort? Light fabric that is soft to the touch? Or is it all that AND the ability to look forward to the next torrential down-pour?
If it's all those things, then the Full Monty has it. Yes, the sizing is tricky. Call Turfer to make sure you get what you need, it's worth it.
I put these pants on with my North Face Precip Jacket and stood in the shower for a while. No saturation or seam leakage. Dry as ever and comfortable. Very pleased with breaking away from the name-brand stereotype.
