Just like another reviewer (R. Walsworth, Londonderry, NH)I ordered the robe for Xmas 2007. I ordered on Dec 9 and received an email from company indicating delay due to customs inspection, but guaranteed by Xmas. On Dec 18th, received notice that item was shipped, but FedEx tracking indicated that it had not shipped. Follow up email from company had it shipped on Dec 24, so not in time for Xmas. I received it on Dec 27, with an apology from the company and a $20 refund for late arrival. So this mollified me somewhat. At least they were responsive and atoned for a late arrival.
I selected this robe based on all of the rave reviews it received on the Amazon website. It is a very nice robe and seems to be of high quality. It is very big, as was pointed out in a number of the reviews, and since it is for my wife, a smaller size would have been better. But I had sort of known this ahead of time and thought the large size would not be an issue. I think it will be ok, but caution others that it truly is a one-size-fits-all - from 300lbs on down in size. As mentioned, it does seem to be of good quality, it was shipped in good quality packaging - zippered plastic bag, within heavy cardboard box. If it holds up, I will probably buy another one in 3-4 years. Hopefully by then they will offer smaller sizes.

I bought this robe for my wife last year and after every day use during the cold new england months it has been everything as advertised. From the moment it came it had that plush heavy quality feel to it that made you feel happy to give to someone you love. She has been very happy with it and I might need to get her another for next Christmas but so far it's holding up quite nicely after a full season. But again it is everything I had hoped it would be,quality made, comfortable, warm, plush. I would recommed it to a friend and also buy another .Customer Review: Just what I was looking for.

I was looking for a robe that was warm and soft, and dried me off when I got out of the shower. Typically if you want soft and warm you get fleece (which doesn't dry you off), and if you want to be dried off you get terrycloth (which is never soft). This is luckily all three! My only complaint is that it's so heavy and oversized that I can't really do anything around the house in it, like make breakfast or even brush my teeth (it really is that bulky).
